My client, a UK FTSE 250 organisation specialises in regeneration, planned and reactive maintenance within the Social Housing and Public sector. They are a top tier social housing contractor heavily involved within and famous for its execution and delivery of the Decent Homes scheme, improving and modernising major housing stock within the Midlands regions and further afield. This prestigious and award winning organisation are incredibly well placed to take advantage of the current market conditions, the key to the future development and critical to the succession of future growth my client now aim to build upon their solid base and require a Bid Writer within the Midlands region.
My client is currently looking for a PQQ / Bid Writer to join the Social Housing Division to work at their office in Birmingham, to produce and compile prequalification and tender documents that meet their customer's needs and aspirations. This person will ensure that they meet all submission deadlines and produce high quality documents that sell the business to local authorities, blue chip companies and the social housing market place.
Key Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Working with Business Development and Operations teams to ensure the business responses are tailored to meet the customer's needs
Managing PQQ and tender submissions through design and production stages
Build and maintain a comprehensive library of industry related information.
Support to the Bid Manager in overall design and production of bid documentation
Work with the Bid Manager, Regional Directors, Business Development Managers and Estimators to develop our bid strategy.
Compiling creative and innovative bids tailored to the requirements of each business opportunity that incorporate best practice from existing partnerships and the wider industry.
The successful individual will have the following attributes:

Good command of the English Language
Document design, layout and production skills
Good interpersonal skills
Seek ways of raising standards, reducing errors and overcoming omissions
Previous experience of bid or technical/commercial writing
